John-John Dohmen, Naomi Van,  best hockey players of 2016 in FIH Hockey Stars Awards 


  • FIH Hockey Stars Awards 2016 were conferred in Chandigarh.
  • In male cateogry Belgium captain John-John Dohmen was awarded with best hockey player while in female category Naomi Van of Netherland was awarded with best hockey player award.

112 Ft bust of 'Adiyogi' unveiled by  PM Narendra Modi


  • On the occasion of Maha Shivratri Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled the 112-foot bust of Adiyogi at Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore. Adiyogi is another name of Lord Shiva.
  • It took eight months to built this bust. There is also a fact behind its height which is 112 ft, as per foundation this 112 ft height represent 112 methods that Lord Shiva offered towards self-transformation.
