- The world’s first robot table tennis tutor, FORPHEUS has created a new Guinness World Record with its extraordinary technological intelligence and educational capabilities.
- The Japanese technology has been given the Guinness title for playing table tennis much better than most of the humans.
Sex ratio monitoring dashboard for Panipat set up by Haryana Government
- As a part of the 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' programme, the Haryana government established an online system naming sex-ratio monitoring dashboard for monitoring the sex-ratio on 26th February 2017 .
- Panipat becomes the first district in the country to have an online sex ratio monitoring dashboard with this.
- The idea of this system was disclosed in a brainstorming session between the Chief Minister Manohar Lal and his Good Governance Associates and Administrative Secretaries.

- The martyrdom day of Chandra Shekhar Azad, the Indian revolutionary freedom fighter, was observed on 27th February 2017.
- On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid homage to Chandrashekhar Azad by stating, "we can never forget his valour and ultimate sacrifice for our nation".
