Paris to erect wall of bulletproof glass around Eiffel Tower


  •  On 9th February 2017, Mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo announced that a 2.5-meter high bulletproof glass wall would be erected around the Eiffel tower as a security measure. This decision was taken to protect the architecture from the threat of terrorism.

 Indian Sand Artist Sudarsan Pattnaik created Guinness World Record by sand castle 


  •  Guinness World Record was created by Sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik as he sculpted a 48.8 feet tall sand castle. This sand castle was sculpted at Puri beach in Odisha.
  • This tallest castle of world carried message of world peace and featured sculptures of Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela and Gautama Buddha.
